Create Your Reality - You Can Have Your Cake and Eat it, Too!

When you feel frazzled, take a few moments and pamper yourself to a retreat. This is one vacation that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated without having to spend time or money on travel expenses. This is an inward journey that can be done anywhere and anytime you can set aside a few minutes to let your mind wander.

Find a quiet place, this can even be a toilet stall! Take several deep breaths in and out, relaxing more with each breath. Allow the concerns of the day to leave your mind. If distracting thoughts enter, simply focus on your breath until the thoughts float away.

In your inner mind, visualize yourself at the seashore. You are comfy, the sun is warm and the light salty breeze is balmy. Listen as the waves gently lap on the shore. You can hear the gulls in the distance.

What issues are weighing on your mind today? Bring them up, one by one and lay them onto the barge, docked at the water's edge. After you have finished laying all of your burdens onto the barge, watch as it gently glides away from the dock and slowly heads out to sea. As it floats away, notice that atom by atom, it slowly dissipates until nothing remains. Know that these thoughtforms have now been transmuted into pure light, transformed by the water of the seas.

Now, enter the water and bathe your skin and hair, a baptism of sorts as you soak in the healing essence of the water and rinse away any residue of unhealthy negative thoughtforms. You are now whole again, ready to fill the void with new and wondrous thoughts! Take a few moments to lie on the beach, soaking up the sun's rays as your body is warmed and rejuvenated.

Lazily, daydream of the perfect life you would like to live. Allow yourself to float in the sea of possibilities. Feel the excitement of the knowing that indeed you can dream into reality anything you desire.

Recall childhood and adult fantasies that have yet been unrealized. Allow thoughts of others' dreams and experiences that have captured your interest. Be creative and think "out of the box." See your life as an empty canvas with the ability to choose whatever medium you wish. All of the colors of the rainbow are at your disposal.

When you come across thoughts that increase your heart rate and make your "juices flow," follow those thoughts. What does it feel like to experience this event? Set aside any limiting thoughts about lack of money, education, time, energy, health, fears, belief codes or any other thoughts that block the dream. Allow yourself to follow this dream to fruition.

For example, your thoughts may wander to living in your dream home. Where would you build this home? What views will it have? Create the home room by room. See yourself building the home, laying out the plans and selecting the materials. What colors will you choose for the exterior and each room? How will you furnish this home? Feel yourself contentedly living in this home. Use your senses of taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch as you create your dream.

When you are ready, enter back into the present time and resume your day. Allow yourself to bask in the creative juices throughout the day. When you have time, you may want to return to this dream realm and consider if you truly do wish to manifest any part of the dream into reality.

Be wary of the pitfalls of fear, lack, unworthiness, etc. Break through limiting belief codes and allow yourself to experience your heart's desire! Choose your partners and friends carefully, selecting those who are supportive. Having friends that are dreamers and doers can help you break through patterns that currently hold you back from realizing your dreams. Be creative and hold the belief that all is possible and soon you will realize that yes, indeed, you can have your cake and eat it, too!
