Motivate Yourself to Change
Come on, admit it. You have wanted to make changes in your life but after a brief attempt you decide to give up and try again later. Most of us do this with dieting, saving, planning, goal setting, and so on. Why are we so fickle? Why do we quit so easily? The answer, is lack of motivation.
We all need to learn how to motivate OURSELVES. Many of us go to seminars, listen to CDs, watch DVDs, of great speakers who motivate us to a point. The lesson we must learn is that real motivation comes from within, it is inside of YOU that the motivation needs to come from. Others can only help and guide but ultimately it is YOU and YOU alone who can motivate you.
How can you motivate yourself?
Accept the fact that you already have everything inside of you that you need to change and reach your goals.
The reason we don't take anything with us when we die is because everything of value is already inside of us.
You MUST want to change. Ask yourself deep down; do you really want to make this change in your life? If the answer is no you are doomed to fail. But if the answer is yes, admit it and claim it. You WILL change.
Set the standards that YOU want to reach; not the standards others have set for you.
Rejoice in your accomplishments no matter how small. Pat yourself on the back after every victory. Every ounce of weight you lose is a victory. Every small goal you reach is a victory. Rejoice in these victories.
Don't allow anything to stop you from reaching your goal. Stop watching mindless TV. Read books and listen to CDs that help you grow and become a better perso
